Read a chicken card before investing

Open the chicken’s detail panel and inspect every field the current build exposes. Start with its exact displayed name and source egg. Then record rarity, level or growth state, attack, any other visible stats, and the complete special-ability text. If a field is not shown, do not substitute a value from a thumbnail or a different chicken game.

Choose a team by job, not color

Begin with the job the slot needs to perform. A damage slot should improve clear time against the target you are actually facing. A control or area slot should affect enough enemies to justify its place. A survival or support slot should keep the team fighting long enough to finish. Those roles are decision tools, not claims that the game uses official class labels.

Watch a complete battle rather than only the final victory screen. Note which chicken reaches a target, whether its ability activates, how much time it spends without attacking, and what happens when the enemy survives the first burst. If replacing one fighter makes the run more consistent at the same upgrade state, that is stronger evidence than rarity alone.

For PIT, prioritize repeatable performance and money per practical cycle. For Tower, value the ability to survive later encounters and handle bosses. For Fusion, a chicken is also an input resource, so do not sacrifice your only working copy until the current fusion preview makes the consequence clear.

Decide whether to keep, train, or fuse

Keep at least one copy of a chicken that currently fills an important PIT or Tower role. Train a chicken when its observed performance improves a real bottleneck and the upgrade cost will not prevent an essential unlock. Consider fusion only after protecting the team you still need and reading the current confirmation panel.

Duplicates deserve a separate decision. A second copy may be useful for mode teams, later comparison, or fusion. It may also be replaceable from a cheap egg. Compare the source egg’s current availability and the cost of obtaining another copy before consuming it. “Duplicate” does not automatically mean “safe to spend.”

When two chickens have different investment, do not call the winner stronger. Equalize what you can, test the same mode and opponent, and compare several runs. Keep notes short: result, time, failure point, ability contribution, and version date. This makes the tier list respond to gameplay instead of thumbnail hype.

Common roster mistakes

• Investing in the rarest-looking chicken before reading its current ability and mode fit.
• Ranking an upgraded fighter against an untrained one and treating the result as base strength.
• Fusing the only copy used to earn PIT money, then losing the income needed to rebuild.
• Copying a Tower ranking into PIT even though the modes reward different outcomes.
• Calling a mutation automatically better without comparing its result and ability to both inputs.
• Filling missing names or stats from another Roblox egg or fighter game.

Build a stable progression loop

Use Eggs to understand where new roster options enter. Use Progression to decide when income or attack upgrades deserve priority. Test the team in the PIT for steady money, then use the Tower as the harder progression check. When the roster has safe duplicates, move to the Fusion Guide and protect your proven team before confirming an output.
